CEO & CO-FOUNDER
A Southern California native and self-described city boy, Tim grew up with a love for the energy of urban life and a curiosity about the world beyond. He went on to graduate from USC with an undergraduate degree in accounting and a master’s in business taxation, where he was first introduced to data through analyzing financial and income statements.
It didn’t take long for Tim’s interest in data to grow beyond the constraints of spreadsheets; he soon found himself immersed in the emerging self-serve analytics space.

This drive eventually led him to Alteryx in 2018, where he spent five years working with customers across various industries and business sizes. He quickly mastered the Alteryx platform and became passionate about partnering with clients to tackle complex challenges.
With his love for travel and discovery, Tim saw co-founding Bluebird Data with Chris and Bruce as an opportunity to connect even more deeply with his clients’ unique journeys. Each day at Bluebird Data allows him to engage with new problems and help businesses turn data into a valuable asset. Chris started working in the days of typewriters and landline phones. Back then, data was locked away in big, expensive mainframe computers connected to greenscreen terminals. Business processes were medieval compared to today.
Over the past 40 years Chris has had a ringside seat to the evolution and dispersion of information – computers on every desk, the internet, mobile and cloud computing. These digital transformations increase numeracy for knowledge workers the same way that the Gutenberg press was the foundation for universal literacy; but it’s happening ten times faster.

Reflecting on his journey, Chris says, “I’m at that point in my life where I should be thinking about retirement, but I’m inspired by the rate of change and the raw potential. There’s so much more left to do.”

Born and raised in the cross-roads of America, Bruce knows that speed, technology and teamwork are just as important in business as it is in the month of May in Indianapolis. Having grown up around cars and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Bruce loves all things that go fast, whether that be driving his favorite car around country roads in Indiana on a crisp fall day or carving the canyons on his motorcycle in the sunshine of southern California. This passion for pace and precision has translated into a successful career in Data & Analytics, where Bruce is well-known for his ability to rapidly solve any problems while also accelerating the pace of analytic transformation across the business.

Bruce’s passion for cars deepened through the 10 years he spent working in the automotive industry, developing analytics and models to support used car operations for both Ford and GM. During the development of these analytics, he quickly learned the importance of being not only a deep technical expert, but a true partner and extension of the business, working each day to drive data & insights into every business decision.
Prior to joining Bluebird Data, Bruce was the VP of Data Science at Alteryx, responsible for the company’s data governance, engineering, infrastructure and operations teams as well as advanced analytics and data science. During his time at Alteryx, Bruce learned the immeasurable value of driving analytic literacy and usage across all corners of the business, both from Alteryx’s fanatic customer base but also within Alteryx’s own data & analytics team members.
At Bluebird Data, Bruce leads the company’s Solution Delivery and Analytics teams, partnering with each of Bluebird’s customers to help accelerate their analytic journey by focusing on solving their most challenging people, process, technology and data problems. Through each business question, data pull or analytic model, Bruce stays true to his roots by pushing the pace of transformation with both precision, speed & technology to ensure each of Bluebird’s customers are first to the checkered flag.

From her farm in Michigan, where a lively flock of chickens rules the roost (she used to have ducks too!), Tracy brings the same passion for animals to her work with data. A proud dog lover with a few cats in the mix, she channels that same energy and dedication from the farmyard to the boardroom.
With extensive experience across IT, Manufacturing, Automotive, and Online Gaming, Tracy is a master of transformation—turning tangled data and processes into clear insights, and solving complex problems with solutions that stick. This problem-solving extends to her side business designing t-shirts, which started as a way to support underfunded school programs and quickly expanded into new areas.

Ivana stumbled upon the world of data and analytics by chance. After studying diplomacy, she entered the world of analytics in the automotive industry and was able to bridge her passions of people, and solving problems in creative ways – and she has never looked back! Ivana now specializes in data and analytic governance and transformation. She is continuously looking for new ways solve the many questions and issues that inevitably come with building and managing a world class analytic environment. While keeping the pillars of governance and security at the forefront of what she does, Ivana’s primary focus is to deliver solutions that meet the needs of all users that interact with data, and the analytics that serve them. She also enjoys finding clever ways to bring automation and analytics to a space that is often overlooked.

Over the years Michael has explored an exciting range of career opportunities and professional challenges. Immediately prior to BBD, Michael was a Marketing Analytics Manager and Analytic Product Manager at Alteryx Inc, where he led the development of marketing models, goals, and reporting efforts. While working in financial services at The Bank of New York Mellon, he solved a wide range of corporate marketing challenges around reporting data, sales prospecting, customer surveys and software modernization. Incidentally, it was in this role he discovered the Alteryx software that everyone at BBD loves! In past lives, he worked on railroad signaling at Bombardier Transportation, sold luxury goods at Nordstrom, and even spent some time studying pathogenic Neisseria in a molecular genetics lab.

Dianna, originally from the Philadelphia area, spent much of her childhood exploring national and state parks. Her passion for travel and the outdoors has led her to visit 49 of the 50 states, with only Hawaii left on her list! Over the course of her career, Dianna has embraced a variety of educational roles—whether as a backpacking guide, trail construction crew leader, or in positions within public and private schools, non-profits, and training programs. Her dedication to teaching has always been at the core of her work.
